This blog and our journey together

Hi, Please join us to share stories and inspirations from life’s journeys!

We’re driving from Oregon eastwards across the USA in our ‘YesWeCan CamperVan’ – a vintage 1971 VW Westfalia camper van. We’d really appreciate your support on this blog and on our Facebook page to help us get started and to keep us going.

More about Facebook later.

Here on this blog, we’d love you to get involved and add your own stories and comments. This is the space to reflect on what we discover as we travel east, and let us know if it inspired you in your life’s journey, challenges and dreams . We also hope you can send us your thoughts to inspire us and keep us going.

Please also support us, by telling your local Newspaper, TV or radio station about us so they can follow our journey and broadcast when we’ll be arriving in your town.

If you’re not keen on writing, but you can meet us along the way, we’d be very happy to listen to your story and write something with you, if you prefer. We’d especially like to hear your suggestions about how to live in harmony with the planet, how to get back to a simpler life, and ways you have found, however small, to save energy, water, plants and animal species that are disappearing fast. You get the story?

We chose the name  The ‘YesWeCan’ Journey to show there’s still time to make a difference, if we act now. We chose the 1971 VW Westfalia Camper because she radiates the optimism of the 70s. And because this lovely campervan attracts attention wherever she goes and will help us spread the word.

THANK YOU! We really look forward to being on this journey together and rekindling the Spirit of America.
And remember to wave if you see us on the road !!!
